Marjeta Brežnik (AO Celje), Matej Knez (AO Celje), and mountain guide Franc Pepevnik – Aco (PK Rifnik) have left for Nepal’s Ama Dablam on October 9, 2017.

Lead by Mountain Guide IFMGA Aco, they plan to acclimatize on Gokyo Ri (5357 m), Kala Patthar (5643 m), Everest BC (5364 m), and Lobuche East (6119 m). Afterwards, they’ll settle into the base camp below Ama Dablam (6812 m), which they intend to climb via the SW ridge.
They’ll return to Slovenia on November 16, 2017.
