Spring is slowly conquering the lowlands with blossoming snowdrops and primroses, but the most enthusiastic skiers are not ready to let go this year’s winter just yet.
The first Friday of April started really early – with Alpguide team we headed out towards Austria to hit the freshly snowed slopes of Heiligenblut. When we arrived there was no crowd and the weather was really sunny, without a trace of clouds, but with some gusts of wind.
We got around 20 centimeters of fresh snow and though it was a bit heavy and wet we left some nice trails behind us.
Some say this time of the year is more suitable for tanning on the beach, but I think we proved them wrong. The personnel of Alpguide team ensured a great closure of an excellent skiing season.
